MOSHKING.COM Presents its first Metal Show

For those of you who do not know, MOSHKING.COM has been *the* source of information for metal shows in Southern California for many years. Denis Recendez, the "Moshking" himself, would take careful time to see all the bands whose dates he lists, or at least listen to the music from the band's websites. With his indepth knowledge of the metal scene and of the bands involved, it was only a matter of time before the Moshking set up a show of his own. The reason for this very first event -- his birthday. Friends from all quarters showed up to thank the Moshking for his excellent work, to support his first ever production, and to wish him a great big happy 3-oh.
Raven Mad was proud to be on the very first Moshking.com bill along with three other excellent metal bands: Daemos, The Goon Squad, and Mother Mercy. We combined our PA with Daemos's for the house sound.

Speaking of Fro's, the band exchanged Christmas gifts at this event, and Fro Boy was not-too-pleased to open up his gift from Mel to find a CHIA HEAD!! We'll have updates on the growth of the Chia Fro as well as the original Fro Boy online soon. Any bets as to which grows faster?
It was amazing that Joe could fit his massive drumset on the tiny TC's stage. Tiny though it may be, TC's always seems to have a great vibe. We played before a full house of revellers, kicking around birthday balloons, spraying silly string, and otherwise having a great time. After The Goon Squad's set, Mel pulled out some of her famous Microwave Cupcakes(TM) and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to Denis.
