As exciting as it was to play such a large place, Raven Mad also marvelled in the fact that they received a private dressing room stocked with beer! They got the privilege of watching Yngwie Malmsteen soundcheck (for 2 hours!), as well as a first-hand look at what kinds of things go on backstage before and after a major show.
Raven Mad is ready to hit the stage, but take a moment to pose in their dressing room.

Raven Mad got to meet most of Yngwie Malmsteen's band, except for Yngwie himself, who remained in his dressing room with wife and son until it was time for him to leave. Here's a band shot with Yngwie's singer, Mark Boals.
Positively the most interesting character the Mad-sters encountered was John Macaluso, Yngwie's drummer. John had a fun, wacky personality with a sweet heart (in addition to being a kick-ass drummer!). After the Galaxy closed up for the night, the Mad-sters, along with Booger and a couple members of Malmsteen road crew, went back with John for a few beers. Thanks and good luck, John!
